Chiang Rai is a mountainous region in northern Thailand, bordering Laos and Myanmar. Ubud is a town located in the central part of Bali island, known for its rich arts and culture, as well as its lush landscapes of rice fields and tropical jungle, offering a contrast to the southern beach areas.

Kintamani is a village on the western border of the bigger caldera wall of Mount Batur (Gunung Batur) in Bali Island, Indonesia. It is located on the same north-south route as Penelokan and has served as a rest point for visitors to observe the Mount Batur region. Candidasa is a beach town on Bali's eastern coast that sits on the edge of a freshwater lagoon known as Candi Dasa Lagoon. Amed is a 14-kilometer stretch of fishing villages located on Bali's east coast in the Karangasem Regency, Indonesia. One of the seven settlements in the region is named Amed. Jemeluk, Bunutan, Lipah, Selang, Banyuning, and Aas are the names of the remaining six. Due to their proximity to Mount Agung, Bali's greatest volcano, some of the beaches in the vicinity, notably Amed Beach, feature black volcanic sand. Amed is a region that is preserving its traditions while growing its tourism industry. Lovina Beach (often known as just Lovina) is a coastal location on Bali's northwestern side that is famous for its black sand beaches, coral reefs, and dolphins.
